Which Is Better, Aluminum or Steel Frame?
Aluminum is more fragile, and can crack or warp under stress. Steel is more sturdy and structurally sound for the lifetime of your vehicle. There is a misconception that a steel frame will rust, but time has shown that to be fals. Steel frames don't rust, but in a salt air environment, the paint on steel frames may bubble or peel slightly. This does not reduce the integrity or durability of the frame itself.
